Kaspersky Lab

This is a non-commercial video created as part of bootcamp at the Isaev Workshop. I did everything myself - from the idea, to the rendering and sound design. You can see for yourself by watching the breakdown I posted below the work itself. There's a lot of work that's been done. There's character animation, modelling, lighting and 2D effects. Be inspired for good!
Making Of

Detailed and showed the whole process of creating the video.
Behind The 3D Scene

Step by step on the creation process
Blocking

Worked out object placement and camera animations to the music selected earlier. Added simulation in several scenes. And instead of a character I used a regular figure in T-Pose. Towards the end I adjusted proper transitions between scenes to make the picture look more expensive.
Character Animation

First collected references in Pinterest. Modelled the character using Blender. Then added bones in Mixamo so you could move him. Made the animations using Cinema 4D. Also worked on the facial animations to make the character look alive. Then dressed him and simulated his clothes in Marvelos Designer.
Assets / Lighting / Textures

First, I swapped the base figures for elaborate models and filled the scenes with them. If necessary, I modeled myself. With the light I emphasised what to pay attention to in the video. I gave atmosphere with haze and rays. Then I worked out the materials for my models using the Redshift node system. I added reflections and scuffs, as well as background blur and blur on camera movement.
Color Grading / 2D Effects / Sound Design

Made the final render. I did colour grading in After Effects to give the video a consistent look. After that, I added frame-by-frame animation in Photoshop (Hello Spider-Man!). Then I did the sound design in Premiere Pro for more immersion for the viewer. Each action has its own sound. To wrap things up, I did the cover art. I chose the best shot and edited the colour in Photoshop.
UI Design

I recreated the look of the Kaspersky Lab mobile app as well as the PC desktop splash screen myself using Photoshop.
